If I was a match maker, I would put together some super fights at the MGM Grand Garden in Viva Las Vegas. I would love to see Amir Khan vs. Andre Berto. These two explosive fighters would put on a dream bout. Amir Khan with his smooth, long jabs, and quick hands would be paired against Andre Berto’s aggressive offensive onslaught. Next, an exciting match up would be Miguel Cotto vs. Kelly Pavlik. This fight pits Pavlik’s hard nose, and in your face style against Cotto’s boxing/slugging abilities. Can you imagine these two fights on the same card?
Now, I will give you my predictions. In the first matchup, I favor Andre Berto in a K.O in the seventh round. I base this prediction on the fact that Amir cannot take a punch. In the second bout, I would have to lean toward a draw. I see Cotto getting an early lead for the first half of the fight, and Kelly palling on the rounds in the second half of the fight.
